that sounds good. i wonder if they will have a ladder system like they do in blizzard games. They should, if they want to distinguish themselves

I got my copy monday night, it came in early.
I played some online with a guy I've known for a few years online, *we've been waiting for this game to play each other. * and while the first round of the first match was sorta laggy, every match after that was lag-free. We went at it for a couple hours. Fun stuff.

The new visual style is really superb though.

The new ultra moves kick ass
Guess I'm too used to the VS games, but I sort of miss the other special moves like the hurricane kick one

Good God Seth is an annoying bastard.
What is it about fighting game developers and making such stupid, cheap final bosses.

I just got to play it for the first time a little while ago. It's pretty amazing to say the least. I'm impressed and disheartened by the difficulty though; I'm glad it's hard, but I can barely play through the Arcade without getting trashed by some of the later battles. I was doing really well with Crimson Viper as well as Ken, but getting kicked around by E. Honda is never fun, if I may say so.
Seth is just a lot like Zangief (spelling?) though. He spams throws like mad as a computer.

Seth and Zangief = Cheap fuckers
Zangief just throw spams and half of his attacks can't be stopped
Seth is easy the first round, but in the second round the match starts looking like a MMA fighter versus a paraplegic kid

It took me over an hour to beat arcade on freakin' easy, madness!! lol
I wanna get myself one of the nice new gamepads or possibly even a stick but I'm afraid of investing the cash in one and then sucking anyway. There are definitely some issues with using the regular control stick (don't even mention the d-pad ). Some of the moves you get asked to do in challenge training are basically impossible with it.

Im gonna get this, as soon as Ive got some spare cash! Ive got to make do with 3rd Strike on Dreamcast for the time being.
Oh and well done Sony, for finally releasing SFIIHD... one day before SFIV! If they had released it a few months ago (Like in the U.S) I probably would of bought it. I think they are going to lose a lot of sales on this one, in the E.U.

I might pick this up today but feel that because I can't take it online for a while I'm not gonna enjoy getting my butt kicked on easy all the time... at least online a real person is prone to mistakes...
By the time I get it online I bet the people I wanna play would of traded it already

If you can accomplish the Arcade mode on higher difficulties, you won't make mistakes anymore. Trust me.

If you can, you need to put down the controller and go outside
