So basically this is a 2 part video on how to zing up your artwork a bit (from a newbs perspective anyway) and create an advert or something that looks something like this - (I know the text f*cks it up)

Part 1 - YouTube - [PS CS3] Photoshop, how to add zing, Part 1
Part 2 - YouTube - [PS CS3] Photoshop, how to add zing, Part 2

The pictures used can be found at my picture album here -
Guild Inn - Gaming GFX Site - Bensta's Album: Zing up your artwork

Hope you like it guys! Please comment on it and suggest anything I could've done better!

Not a clue but either way, it gets into the finished product so it's kind of irrelevant, there's no quality substitute between the two. Anyway, I'm glad you liked it mate.

Gif has only 256 colours. PNG and jpg have several mill depending on the number of bits.
Not a bad tut though.

because of quality?

no one saves their sigs as GIF unless its animation, the quality is freaking shitty compared to PNG.

why the hell would you want lower quality, when you can get much better?
