New forum FAQ

I will update this with any questions about our new forum. Also let me know if anything isnt right in here aswell, any problems etc.

You will need to re-set your password to log in as they were lost in the cross over. Just choose the "forgot Password" option and you will be sent another one.

Re do your signatures and avatars aswell as they seem to have messed up aswell.

I hope you enjoy what i've done

Thumbs down

Though i have only been on the site as member for a day, i got really fond of the old layout...
there was a lot of nice things, so i can only say something bad about the new(other than the layout is OK, not super, not bad. Just a little above average design)

but anyway, my list isnt very long..

I really really really miss your old smileys! Are they gone or are they just hidden? anyway, the old layout with all the smilies above was better...

secondly:
I HATEHATEHATEHATEHATE Those vBulletin boards. Hate that every site i go have the same forum, just with at little different skin. I dont know if your old one is a prefab too or anything, but at least that fit into the site and it had some more "personality" or... something. Dunno how to explain..
I just mean, that for one sake, there finally was a forum, that just wasnt like all the others, that take less than half an hour to make, if you want to..

I know you surely has put a lot of work into this, it takes some running a site after all, but at this point I think your work is spilled...

NOTE! Im REALLY bad at handling changes to something i already am very well satisfied with, so after a month i will get along with it, but just not now.

Hope you will listen to me though, as i really said what i meant up there, but when i get dissapointed above something like this, i really use all of my writening powers to make it sound big, so dont take it hard. I know you've been looking forward to this

I do hear what your saying mate and I did love the old style site but we needed to move on and this is the only way we can.

The old smilies are here and you used one.....

The old forum was a prefab and was even easier to set up than this one. It was an open source forum so as we grow we could more easily be hacked.

I understand your comments but were still noob friendly and always will be

Well, it is dark. A bit too dark if you ask me, BUT the arcade thing helped me fall down. I LOVE simple games like that (Which you may see in the highscores )

But isnt it possible to get a chart or something, where you can see the smilieys? Its hard for someone, who have nevver seen them before to know what their usual txt smilieys will look like here and some of them will neverever be used.?

But all HTML tags can be activated, cant they? because alle the sigs, that widen the forum drives me insane:p

Hey! you changed the Post Icons, nice^^

(And in case you wondered; No my mood about a design doesn't always change that quickly, but in this case i have seen that this forum IS better. But if i had been on the old side a month i would be sad a week or more )

Glad you like the games, I couldnt get them so easy (and cheap on the old site).

If a sig is too wide for a post now only the one post its in widens so its actually better now as before it would make a scroll bar. HTML is disabled but BB codes are on and peope only ever need that

I will look into adding the smilies too the quick reply part as i'm sure its possible.

Hope you like it soon

Ok, but its REALLy irritating, that the thread is to wide for my resolution (1024*76 so i have to scroll to see it all
And then... its actually better for the eyes if each line is as short as possible. Thats why newspapers alway writes in collumns (if thats the prober english word for it... cant think of anything else they should be called)

With that res is should fit perfect as its only 950px wide......

I'm using that now and it looks nice!

EDIT - I have added a drop down menu on the quick reply with the smiles on it, enjoy!

it doesnt fit at me

BUT at Sihizle's post is the HTML viewable, and because the <br> doesnt work, it stretches out the whole thread with the two images next to each other instead if under..

Why cant you just turn HTML on, so the <br> and <img> codes work in the signatures?

(Maybe its because i use IE 7...)

Want a screen to see what i mean?

Mate thats because his signature hasnt come across from the old forum correctly. Dont worry about it, the <br> code is a mistake with the transfer process. HTML is a securtiy risk so its off. Use [b] tags instead

its a bit dark and fancy, but ill grow to love it in time. im also quite bad with change, but i think i can adapt to this.
although im also getting annoyed by a scroll bar at the bottom

just wondering if theres a button to show all new posts since last visit as on the old one? cant seem to find one.
