i just used the magnetic lasoo tool pretty much, its from the front of his "greatest hits" album i think! I've never seen a render of Eddy grant though, so i thought i'd do one.

oh god im such a n00b, what does feather do?.

makes the edges blend a little more, in this case, there's no bg, so the edges would have a little transparency so it wouldn't look too choppy.

lol well that was the desired effect, but it seems to ahve made it worse =P

but i think the render's still useable, especially with the advanced techniques of the P'shoppers on this site =]

its ot that bad, how did you cut it out? best way to do it i think is use the path tool, can get completly correct cuts then

Well im liking the top one better dude. ther both good but the 1st one got hardly any white at all.

i used erm..the Magic wand, the lasoo tool. i could use paths never really thought of that
