Today is a super sad day...
Well, today is a sad day. I sold my 1985 Haro Freestyler Master on Radwheels.
This be my baby...
This image has been reduced to 90% of its original size.
Got £1,500 for it on Radwheels, 'cause it was a limited edition. Sad to see it go though.
ON TO THE NEW!
In place of my old bike I think I'ma buy a Quadangle or a PK Ripper [Black & Gold]. Very few black and gold ones were made. My Dad's friend has one so hopefully he'll sell me his. If not, I could expect to pay about £5,000 for the frame alone.
If I can't get the PK, I'll buy this later on this week.
Wack some nice Tuff II Black Skyway's on it. Nice redline 3-piece crank. Black dia-compe brakes. White musroom grips or some AIM grips. Snake seatpost and a plastic official Quadangle seat.
Set me back about £2,000ish.
SO YEAH. B00m.

I don't really get it, I'm a mountain biker so a bike is just a bike.

But Wade is uber-rich so he gets crazy unnecessary top-of-the-range shit in everything he owns

At least if someones paid that much for it, you know (or hope) its gonna be looked after, and appreciated. Nice bike anyway, I used to have a Raleigh one a bit similar.

I just bought some beartrap pedals from a bike store near me. Rare gold ones.
£230.99. Fucking beautys. Similar to these but gold cages instead of red.

normally i'd say "why the hell would you spend that much on pedals?" but im a guitarist and i'd be willing to spend that much on a guitar pedal, which most people would see as a waste.
plus those pedals look pretty damn cool.

you can get beartraps for less than 100$... not 500$ lol
u can just buy the cages for like 20$ then just screw in 4 screws.
and you can get WAY better pedals for WAY cheaper (azonic a-frame is my favorite platform pedal - 80$)
but i guess if u have the money, spend it however you want. i wouldnt know what thats like
