This place is going down. not because andre and strife left, they just destroyed the windows and looted the bar of the inn. The real problem here is that most of the new members are really irritating.

Not much we can do about it though is there? Are you suggesting we don't allow younger members in? If we did that you wouldn't be here Plus of course people would lie anyway.

And it's not like we can have some sort of "nice guy maturity test". I agree it's an annoying problem and not one we used to have (I'm talking way before your time mind you ) but it's the internet, this is how it is, and it sucks, but its true.

Sorry but i have to agree with both Sticky and Skynet, although it may be annoying as the internet is accessable to anyone, but theres nothing we can do about it because of that.

I see the increasing problem, but what do you think we can do?
Making a maturity test seems like a weird idea, I don't think I can support that.

But picking on the immature guys isn't excactly gonna solve the problem, that just makes them frustrated. I'd rather like we should be good examples and show them how we wish them to be. But I really don't know

N5, that's true - in the end the day is safe, but that increasing level of immaturity stops us ( the whole GI comunity ) from evolving.

"The friendly gaming GFX site" - remember. And as for a friendly comunity, which is packed with many many friends, we are supposed to help each-other, whether it's in a game, for a tag or anything else. The same goes for helping, in a gentle manner of way, our so called "immatures" to "grow - up". However, that "help" is a double-edged blade.

We cannot start remarking others if they act this or that way and blame them - that will put off many freshers, yet we cannot keep our eyes shit for what's happening now. If we tend to be grown up we should find a solution for that.

Setting an example is maybe the best way here, and Ahlto here mentioned it.
Other thing that might help is giving some attention, friendly one, to all of those who seem rather troublesome, or as called before "immature", because imagine if the problem is based on lack of attention. You know that anyone who wants to be seen either makes something outstanding or does something annoying.

well i want to say something, as much as i will miss the mods that have left, Adren for one has not been setting the kind of example we wanted, and coming from one single member shouldnt make too much of a problem, but the fact that he was a mod made it 10 times worse, the fact that he himself was coming out with all these immature comments such as about banning people makes others think that its ok for them to act in the same sort of way. I want to say though to ALL the members on this site, weather you post every day or once a week it doesn't matter, please just make it a better place for all of us, especially for yourselves. Think about it, if you spam and act immature all the time, not only does it create more work for us Mods and Marc as well, it hinders your progress through graphics in general. Just saying that something is bad but not giving any reasons doesn't help anyone does it? it just makes them feel worse about it, why bother? if you want to say someones sig is bad for example, give a reason for it, tell them whats bad and how they can improve it, and thay way you can expect the same treatment back toward you. If everyone started acting this way, then it will get back to the friendly, helpful site it once was rather than the competitive site full of rants and insults that its become. Cmon though guys seriously, if you want to put a selfish perspective on it and not just help others, then do it to help yourself become better at photoshop and the like. anyway i gotta go do some work now before i get shouted at. hope this helped!

lol j/p but i think were getting a hell of a lot of spam everywhere and lots of ppl are using the off topic section as an excuse to spam.. so that needs requlating ..maybe set up a few new rules to prevent that.

Well that thread about noodles kind of irritated me . I'm not saying spam in off topic section is wrong, but I dont want GI to become like PR, where people make really weird threads in the spam section >_<.

Oh and I'm not gonna name any names(except the one in my original post ) but saying "he's 30, he'll die by next week" in the last movie you saw thread isn't something we see everyday.
