FEEDBACK battle squad - Guild Inn

Lately I've been noticing that battles are put up at a slower pace. I myself can live with it but I have seen some people getting a bit impatient.

Maybe you could open up applications again or something? I mean no offence to the current Battle Squad, I just remember it used to be much faster...

And yes, I'd be willing to help out if needed. :3

Maybe it has something to do with the examination period in various countries... I don't know.

Well, it has been like this for about 2 months or maybe longer. As far as I know exams aren't all that time.

Well like I said, I don't know... but I did notice the "slower" set ups. I just didn't mind it that much since I didn't battle much

Sal, as I said I have no problem with it. I just think that if more people are willing to help and that will stop the people from complaining, then why not?

I'm trying to set them as fast as I can, but sorry if I'm not doing in the speed of light. I've been having my busy period since the beginning of April - was away, then came the last 3 weeks of uni + all assignments due in + exams and just got free on Tuesday. And currently i'm busy with packing so - yeah - battles are the lest thing I'm bothered with.

Also curently we are 4 Battle Squads of whom it's only me being that active (no offence guys, I'm simply modest >.>).

And a little message to those who are impatient - we, the battle squad, or any other staff members, don't live for the sake of your battles - if you are unhappy about how fast or as a whole, we work - well, sign a petition and choose your new battle squads. We'd be happy to be left alone and request-PMs-free.

I know they are trying to do their best, but as you said. Only you are really active. I think it would really make a lot of difference if either the other members would also just set up battles or if they don't have the time, Marc would hire some new people who do.

yeah felis has been the only one setting them up for the longest time...I got some shit going on so I can't really be bothered right now to set up your battles b/c you can't wait an extra hour or so.

oh and also, when you post in the battle ready thread, for fuck's sake will you follow the format.
It should have the names of the competitors, the level of the battle, the tags, and the code for them.

maybe any battle staff who have been unactive for ages should be replaced (to relieve the burden on the active ones), but still their are 14 battles open for voting when I just checked.. so that's still darn good IMO and well enough for the day

Today I opened 10, which IMO is the limit for a single day, because if more are opened battles which are still running might be pushed back and end up with just a couple of votes in - that's quite unfair for all participants in the battle.

Yeah, I know. But one of the main reasons so much were opened today is because the battles stack up.

But I like ReJoice's idea of replacing inactive Battle Squad members.

Well sorry for being sick on Fri and busy yesterday and didn't have the strenght or time and mood respectively to open a couple of then yesterday.

From now on we all will be on 24/7 with bug jugs of coffee waiting for some new battle to satisfy our lust for ticking boxes whether or not the poll be public, in how many days to close it and wish the participants Good Luck cuz we are kind lil ppl.

At least we are trying to open your battles - don't we? If ppl are not pleased with what we are to offer and the way we do it - feel free - sub is. I won't mind being relieved from numerious members sending me PMs a couple of hours after their battles is been up whinging to post it for them cuz they can't wait see if they'd win or not.

I used to kind of enjoy setting the battles for you all but such kind of 'appreciation' is putting off.

You either take what you have or no.

Chris only posts team battles (and he posted a few today because of this thread) and you (YFelis) post them. Sherif and Zeph never post.

Back in the days the BS also had 5 members, so why not just fill up the empty spot?

There's a Battle Squad since mid Aug - beggining of Sep and the original members were: Daze, Nicki, Zeph, Chris and Sherif. I replaced Daze in Nov-Dec and at that we still were 5. Well 4 actually cuz Sherif is not active at all as a BS.

Nicki became a mod and with only 4 official BSs we still managed.

As for who posts what you are a bit wrong.

Have a look at p3 and backwards - YF, Z, YF, YF, Z, Ch, YF and so on.

If one is so interested in becoming a BS - PM Marc and tell him - as easy as that.
