well this was really long time. my cpu is starting to give up. so i need to earn money to upgrade the parts. well my problem is. the monitor is automatically shutting down. but when i'm putting a big electric fan it is okay(no shutting down problem). what do you think the problem. and any advice? i'm upgrading the video card and memory, because it is really very slow. and really time consuming..

Sounds like your cpu fan could be buggered. PC is overheating.

Try cleaning your rig of dust with a can of compressed air if it seems very dusty, especially between the blades of the CPU fan. I've had to do it several times, very common but simple problem that can cause systems to shut down/restart and run more slowly.

do you mean just the monitor shuts down or the whole computer? >.>
and make sure you have the right socket for the CPU that's compatible with your current mobo.

yea, get rid of the dust and all, make sure you get the plug to the monitor and all...
and are the speakers together with your monitor? a lot of new monitors have built in speakers.
if you do then I think it might be time for a new monitor

Uh depending..how much do you wish to spend?

for a minimum budget i would get;

-Intelฎ Pentiumฎ Dual-Core E2200 (socket 775) [€ 72,-]
-Abit IX48 GT3 (Intel 775 motherboard..if you were going to buy one) [€ 199]
-And well most likely DDRII will fit on these :
There is a chance they arent selling these in ..w/e you live
GeiL 4 GB DDR2-800 Kit [€ 49,-]

total of €320,-
--------------------
without the motherboard a total of €121,-

edit :leave out the ram modules i just have read that the motherboard supports a max of 3 GB DDR3 T.T
i would get these then : OCZ 2 GB DDR3-1600 this one is [€99,-] so you can add €50,- on the total price

€370,- with a motherboard
€171,- without one ..

yea if you're buying parts get them from an actual store as you get much more customer support than online.
for the mobo, i recommend any asus or xnx nvidia board.
processor, amd is great.
video card, again, xfx nvidia.
get yourself a good power supply, you can get them pretty cheap.
try going 500w or above. ultra is a great brand.

and you can also buy a 'barebone case'
it's basically the basics of what you need to have your computer turn on.
most of them come with a tower, motherboard, processor, and a power supply.
some come with video cards, some with CD-drives...
either way you can get what you need, you'll know it'll all fit, and you can get pretty nice deals on them also.

haha if you have a budget get AMD since AMD is a little slower ..less Ghz but cheaper in relation to Intel
