Is actually good... shock horror!

Looks like EA have finally sorted FIFA out. I've not bought a FIFA game for years and it was getting stupid, just a few updates and squad lists etc. Nothing that made the game actually any better.

I read a couple of positive reviews and thought it was time to give FIFA another go. I'm glad I did as the game is very enjoyable, plays well, you have a chance from everywhere but it's not easy.

I can't wait to give the 10vs10 online a go, that's going to be mad! I imagine some games fall into 20 people running after the ball all of the time trying to win the game single handed but game done proberly will be awsome.

You can create teams/clans online and organise tournaments and leagues. Anyone else got it and wanna play?

ive rented it mate gotta go back next week but yeah its awesome, apart from pro season mode is quite bugged, like yesterday i won a game 7-0, and it said i got beat 2-1 =\

Yeah Marc.
Same reasons as you, last Fifa I bought was 03 I think. After that my Fifa enjoyment just fell apart.
But now with the 10vs10 BaP mode it's going to be great fun online.

Now I'm gonna try to get into the top 25 from Holland again.

ill probably buy this after a week, so i vote if we get enough people we make a gi league , or 10v10 games ^^

edit- Also we can create our own online team to take on other teams , good idea imo

Same here probably, though I've actually heard favourable opinions about the new PES (based off the demo) from people who are normally FIFA fans...so now I dunno what to do lol.

meh, played both demos and the FIFA one stuck out most in my opinion.

I'm as casual a football game player as you can get and FIFA has always appealed more to me just because it has all of the official teams etc. It's always been the best presented game, it's just never had the quality game play it used to back on the Megadrive.... until now

There are so many options, game modes and things to do. I'm not even sure what to put my time into. Be a Pro mode seems good though, I've not seen any of the bugs but I've only played one game in it so we will see.

Definatly be good to see if we can get a small league going, 5 players would be enough, everyone plays each other twice. I love how EA handles that as well, it's all online and you just play each other as you see each other, meaning you can play your games against one person all on the trott. Brialliant.

i got it for the PC, i can't get the controls right, and i can't seem to find anything in game that would tell me what is what or anything that would let me change them.

It's very clear in the 360 version on how to change the control... if ya wanna buy a 360

I saw the Arcade pack in Sainsburys the other day for £100, the 60GB version was £130, bargain! Was almost tempted to buy one while they were cheap for a back up

i'm in the us =/
and the 60gig here is $199 i think.
i'm probably gonna get a PS3 though as there's a deal in this store near me, it's $300 some for 80 gig.
