I have to admit, when I first heard COD was going back to WWII I wasn't happy. COD4 is brilliant and I thought the same game wouldn't be as good in a WWII setting.

However, after watching and reading the above link... I may have to give it the benefit of the doubt

Im going to get it. no matter what the reviews are like

if you watch the video, you see a sniper in a guille suit climbing a tree, thats pretty sweet imo. but I think they should have stayed in modern warfare though..

Dunno. I'm cautious. Same developer as COD3 and not of the 1st, 2nd, and fourth one.

I want a demo before I consider buying.

Yeah Treyarch are making this one and theyre setting it back to WWII so I feel pessimistic about this one. But I hope they can prove all of us with our doubts wrong.

Now, COD 6 will be the one to look forward to. Infinity Ward back on the scene for that.

Suppose in Treyarch's defence, they only had about 8 months to make COD3. They've had about 2 years to make COD5.

COD3 wasn't so bad. It just wasn't as good as COD2, so that is why people look down it so much.

COD5 is going to have a 4 player co-op campaign which is a brilliant feature and will pull many in. Treyarch will see how successful COD4 is and want to keep it on the same basis. Perks are still there. New weapons. It looks really good I think.

the gameplay looks a bit weird..it just looks really fake where as CoD4 seems somewhat realistic.

I was a bit disappointed to ehar their goin back to WW2 too. It looks ok i guess, but COD3 was shit (so i've heard) so i dunno, it maybe worth a look

yeah my thoughts exactly. but they are using the cod4 engine so it shouldnt suck. and i was thinking the 5th was going to be advanced warfare >_>

One of the reasons I felt COD3 sucked is that it lacked the same atmosphere and pacing of the 2nd game. Game engine didn't massively effect reason why I disliked COD3 even though there were several noteable bugs.

Loved COD2, never finished 3 and loved 4. I'd go as far as saying that even though the 4th was short, it is one of the best FPS experiences I've had in a few years.
