Pokemon D/P + New Installment
Heard they were doing another installment to the D/P series...
Pokémon Platinum
Early 2009. Anybody plan on getting it?
I honestly don't know if I will or not - I have Diamond and had it since release day...I was the only girl in line for it that day XD
Anyways, anyone still play D/P? I just got back into it, and got to play with Adren and Sute today  I still have no final team D: 33 potential teammates and counting. Gonna begin a Garchomp breeding project too.

I lost my diamond, then got a new one and completed it like, seven times(just 'til elite4+catching Giratina)
But how the hell is it Platinum? It was supposed to be Girasol, or something close to that, like Opal, since the first two games were based on Diaruga and Parukia, and were called Diamond and Pearl.

Sigh, fair enough if they insist on continuing to make the original "new" pairs of games...but these inevitable "special edition" third releases are just the definition of a shameless money-grabbing cash-in on people's "dedication" (read: stupidity )

I've not played one since... erm I can't actually remember which one it was. Which one had the whale and the spiky red pokemon on them? They were good fun but I can't see me getting another one if they're 99% the same.

the latest ones are 100 percent different then the old ones, of course there are gym battles and elite 4 etc, but the stories are completely different as well as the places

I thought the places and story were always different but the basic game is always pretty much the same. Just a few slight tweaks and another 100 or so Pokemon?

End of story.
I'm trying to get a triple flawless Gible for a new competitive....I have a 1 in 219 chance of getting it exactly how I want it. 
This is what gets me playing the new gen is the competitive stuff.
