IGNuk has a better rating they gave it a 9.9 out of 10. Looks like a great game though.

I can see it being a slight letdown....not that it will matter because it seems roughly 70% of the earth's population have already decided it's "teh greatest game EVAR".

It was declared it won't come on 360 because they would need to make it 6 disks long.
AND OMFG I KNOW I READ THAT 8/10 REVIEW AND IT PISSED ME OFF SO MUCH. I WAS LIKE ENRAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IGNs REVIEW WAS MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But every AMAZING game gets a bad review SOMEWHERE.
MGS4=best game ever.
I am the biggest MG fan you could ever meet,
and damn it the game is a masterpiece and work of art, just wait till the 12th.

Is there any chance I could download a video of someone playing the whole game? A good 50% is cut scene and MGS gameplay has always been a let down after watching the cut scenes.

Lol, that's quite true...especially in Twin Snakes, though admittedly those cut scenes were awesome 
This reminds me I actually have a copy of Snake Eater that I still haven't got round to playing

By that time the PS3 might even have come down to an acceptable price (maybe even for a model that hasn't had half its functions removed :o) so hopefully I'll get playing it one way or the other by then.

I heard the same exact thing about MGS 4 not coming out on the 360. It would take 6 discs for it to fit. I want a PS3  . Mostly for MGS 4, GTA IV, and Ratchet and Clank: ToD. |

I enjoy rewievs that gives hard critique on games. Cuz giving a 9.9 is kind of high and i canīt wait to see what gamestop has to offer on this one
