I'm in Lilycove atm. Have been in Mt. Pyre, but can't figure out where to go now. People speak of some submarine, but have looking in those hangars in Slateport and that other harbour town.
But I'll consider catching an Absol.

I think you're supposed to go to mosdeep city and defeat the gym to and take the dive HM from Steven so you can go underwater.

I don't really remember where to find Absols but do one thing, go to serebii.net
They have the pokedex thingy that shows the location,etc. of all pokemons.
No, don't get a pikachu... Magneton ftw!

Ah, yeah... bulbapedia is actually a lot better than Serebii but serebii was the best I could come up with at that moment .

Well, I gave up and got a lvl 22 Wingull. So now I'm trying to get to Mossdeep and lvl'ing the Wingull up on the way.

LOL. It's all about how you train your pokemon. If you EV train your Absol(like I did) then it'll be DEADLY(like mine was )

I think he's in Slateport.
I'm not gonna put all detailed posts about EVs but you should prolly search Effort Values in Bulbapedia.
