well just got a new wireless 'N' router (for those who don't know what that is, it's the latest in wireless router speed, it's basically the fastest, getting 300+ mbps speeds xD), but the one we got doesn't support usb connections, so i had to install a wireless driver which is taking it's toll on my computer. Seeing how repairing and defragging the registries and cleaning out alot of crap off my pc it's still going slow in some cases, even skipping music here and there. And how my computer is at it's 2 1/2 year old birthday i just guess i might have to rebuild it to get it going again, since i've gone thru alot of crap with downloads and things with this computer, fortunately no major viruses tho, wooo shaw secure. But i don't really know if i wana put the effort into the rebuild since it is spring break for us right now, and i wana use my tablet alot now since i've only had it for like 3 days (ya took a freaking week to come lol)
Decisions, decisions......
I usually have to close my network connection to make some of my art which sucks, since i love msn.
But on the brighter side of life I'm thinking of attending a presentation up at ACAD (Alberta Collage of Art and Design, where i'm planning on attending next year) that April Greiman is doing. For you who don't know who that is, she's basically the first person to use a computer to create art basically. The first graphic artist.... oooooo lol So i'm excited to see what she has to say. http://www.acad.ab.ca/wh_2008_03_27_ag.html
So note to self
Next tablet i get, make sure i get one where u can see what your doing on the tablet.
Ya a lil disappointing but hey it gets the job done lol
Oh but i'm excited since i got a nice new scanner, which has a special little holder for negatives xD
So no i can back up all my negatives that i've taken in the last like 3 months (all like 300 of them)
And i have to scan them at 2000 dpi lol, ya crazy.
Good thing i've kept semi good care of them, so they should only have finger prints here and there, no major scratches i hope.
I should get some of them up as art for the ones i like and probably prints on the better ones, just need my dad to get off that computer so i can scan them in.
But holy moly the lid for some reason weighs a crap load lol
A good like 5 pounds strangely enough, didn't know like 15 buttons could weigh that much.
So much for getting that Attack series done in like a month, i'm just starting the third and final piece of the series and i probably won't be done that one for a month lol, but hey atleast i'll get that hand drawn feeling i wanted since my tablet now. woooo
uggggg just d/c from teh net
annoyinggggggggggggggg
there we go back but wasted 5 mins of my life lol
