Diet!

Well, today was the first day where I officialy started my diet. Last week I have been crash dieting, eating but a mere two slices of bread and something for diner.
Last week I weighed 131 kg's.

So today I got weighed and measured.
I weigh 126 kg's and have a fat percentage of 42%. That's right, 42% of me = fat.
My BMI is 42 as well.

So, from today I will be working out at least 2 times a week and be following a strict diet

I'll update this blog with my stats every now and then

Stats

18 Feb 2010 : 131,6 kg
24 Feb 2010 : 126,6 kg
26 Feb 2010 : 125,1 kg
18 Mar 2010 : 120,0 kg

Going down!

Also, my diet containts a lot of healthy food but more importantly I'm supposed to keep my digestion system running.
I take in 1100 calories a day, my body needs 2400 (in rest, according to measuring equipment) so I'm burning a lot more then I'm actually gaining.

My excersize program consists of doing excersizes in a thermal heating cabin. This is only around 20 mins, but some very straining excersizes. I do this 2 times a week.
After that, I relax in an infrared cabin (kinda like the thing Jake Sully is in to control his avatar). This is to stimulate my metabolism and continues to work for a full 24 hours.
Aside from this, I go to the gym 3 nights a week.

I'd advise against crash dieting, it's not healthy and it's sure to fuck up any metabolism you have. I know a few girls who do it whenever they're feeling "down" and just eat like... bread for a few weeks, they ultimately end up putting weight on much quicker when they stop crash dieting.

How tall are you Dusty? I'm not as heavy as you but I'm 6" and think I carry it well. However I could do with losing at least a couple of stone... just need to do some form of exercise.

I'll be interested to see how you do mate.

Kotarane, 2400 in rest is a LOT. I only hope that such a drastic reduction in the caloric intake won't bounce back.

But good luck nontheless

Eat lots of vegetables. Vegetables are good. I think there was a study that said guys don't eat enough vegetables because they prefer meat, and from looking at my guy friends, I think that's about correct. Isn't just about low cals - adequate vitamin/fiber content is just as important c;

Oh but, if you're going to use salad dressing for the vegetables, try not to use the very cheesy/creamy dressings that are high in sat fats. :U

Updated.
And LTP you idiot, don't you think that if I'd put it with 8 decimals behind the comma I got it right?
Think twice before you try to correct me.
