Rofl, that doesn't mean anything at all. It's popular because it's an easy no-brainer game with a big brand name behind it. I've played just about every MMO out there, and believe me - WoW isn't at all that good at all...

Diablo II was and still IS awesome, it has a few thousand players still playing it today, a decade after it's release (at least I think it's a decade). The story line and revolutionary cinematics (for the time) made it an immersive and overall great RPG experience. If Diablo III will be Diablo II with better graphics and some flashy new skills I'll be EXTREMELY pleased. So far, from looking at the gameplay video it doesn't seem bad at all, and the destructible environment seems like a lot of fun. I didn't like the environment they used for the Warchief or whatever it's called as I feel it's not in the Diablo spirit. Diablo isn't about flowers - it's about death. DEAEATTHHHHHHHH!

In a nutshell: I hope they won't turn Diablo into World of Warcraft.
