I really have to disagree with you on that because compared to the Resident Evil games before the fourth installment, it took a gigantic leap forward. Instead of dealing with a lousy camera that's usually stuck in one position, you're not following the character closely. It's a lot more intense to be close to the action and I feel it's not as restrictive as it use to be. If they made much more freedom, the game wouldn't be near as challenging or fun. This is just my opinion of course.
The game looks pretty insane. As with Resident Evil 4, the graphics look astonishing. Hopefully what I've seen so far just isn't a cover up for how bad it could be
